The screening of The Noogies at the Hoboken Film Festival was a complete success! Once again we wanted to take this chance to say thank you to all of you that attended the screening. Due to the great turn out at the festival and the amount of high votes we got from you, we recieved a nomination from the festival of BEST OF THE FESTIVAL, AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD. This year at the Morris County Columbus Day parade, Director and Producer Rocco Nisivoccia, Jr. was given the achievement award for his documentary “The Noogies”. It was a bright and sunny day and the honorees were escorted through the parade in brand new convertibles. So, just like in The Noogies documentary, Rocco chose to have his two best friends, shortstop Steven Caponegro and outfielder David Niedziela, by his side to ride in the car with him. Also, race car driver and Noogies 3rd baseman Mike Ficcacci was asked to drive the car for the guys. Since this was such a special occasion, we decided to send a camera with the guys. We would also like to thank Joshua Levy for his camera work along with the Italian American Club for presenting the award to Rocco. Enjoy.

The Italian American Club of East Hanover, New Jersey, has given the Outstanding Achievement Award to the Director and Producer of The Noogies, Rocco Nisivoccia. Also, do to this award, Rocco was asked to participate in Morris County’s Columbus Day Parade this Sunday, October 7th, as an honorary participant. He will be escorted in a convertible with his two best friends by his side, Steven Caponegro and David Niedziela. Of course, in their Noogie Jerseys! The parade will feature many different bands from around the county along with an Italian festival at the end. So, if you are in the mood to celebrate and eat please come on out this Sunday.

As of right now The Noogies are on the verge of breaking into the main stream, but we still need YOUR HELP! Nisivoccia Films LLC is proud to announce that we have won the Editior’s Choice Award at Crackle.com on August 31st 2007 for The Noogies Short. This is a site sponsored by Sony and Columbia Pictures who is holding a contest for short films. The Noogies has been cut into a short film and it is “hysterical”. So, now I’m sure you are wondering where do you come into play. Please click HERE and it will transfer you over to Crackle.com where you can watch The Noogies Short. The Noogies screening will be on Saturday, September 29th at 3pm in the Wildwood Convention Center. We encourage as many of our fans to please come out for this viewing and then party the night away. The Noogies have been accepted into the Wildwood By The Sea Film Festival located in the “The Doo Wop Capital of the World” Wildwood, New Jersey. The festival will have a doo wop theme with lots of entertainment provided nightly, with musical acts from the 50’s and 60’s in addition to popular contemporary bands and will be on September 27th through September 30th 2007. Be sure to keep checking their website (click on their logo) and here to get all the info on when the screening of The Noogies will be! See you at the Jersey shore!

While The Noogies are looking for distribution, we are making even more news! Nisivoccia films would like to thank everyone who came out to see the premiere of “The Noogies”. Today is an exciting day, reviews are coming in and it’s a hit! Already, the Daily Record has an article about the films and all it’s stars (click on the word daily record to read the article). Soon there will be videos and pictures from last nights amazing event.

This was the first step in a long journey to get the Noogies to be known through out the world. That’s right everyone, now it’s time to get DISTRIBUTION!!! Please talk about The Noogies to everyone you know, because the next time it plays in a theater, we want it to be across the country!

That’s right everybody, the wait for The Noogies premier is over. It will be shown tonight, Saturday, June 2nd at 5pm in the Headquarters Theater located at 72 Headquarters Plaza, Inside the Headquarters Shopping Mall in Morristown, NJ. Remember doors open at 4:30pm and close at 5pm. The showing is FREE and open to the public. Then, after the showing their will be a private party for The Noogies and all their fans at the Hyatt Hotel’s ballroom 2nd fl. There will be an open bar, food and a special performance by The Years Gone By. Also, our red carpet correspondent Melissa-Anne will be interviewing all the Noogies and their fans for a special page that will be put up right here at TheNoogiesHome.com!
